MEET MARY
Mary's love affair with real estate and interior design is reflected in Dunraven River House. In early 2020, after a long quest for the perfect investment property, Mary bought the historic cabin in Margaretville because of its charm and character. With a strong desire to share the home’s beauty with others, Mary dove headfirst into learning about the great western Catskills and forging a short-term rental business.

Just five minutes from Dunraven River House, downtown Margaretville is home to boutique shops, artist galleries, cafes, restaurants and a full-service grocery store. Neighboring towns of Roxbury, Bovina and Andes add to the charm of this beautiful, bountiful region of New York with its own farmers’ markets, shopping and dining destinations. Hiking trails and ski mountains are just a short drive away, including Belleayre Mountain Ski Center (12 miles) and the family-owned Plattekill Mountain (15 miles). Organic farms are aplenty, adding to the uniqueness of the great western Catskills. Margaretville is approximately 2.5 hours from the George Washington Bridge.
